Description: This unique vintage wall hanging piece by Giovanni Girardi features a beautiful multicolor guitar girl design. The piece is made of high quality ceramic material and has a glossy finish. The item is an original piece from the mid-20th century and was manufactured in Italy. This glazed ceramic piece is made by Giovanni Girardi, a famous ceramic sculptor, he formerly worked for the Turin-based company LENCI. He founded the ceramic art studio "Moulin rouge" in Vicenza in 1945 and later the "Diana" factory, which produced a fine production of small commercial ceramics. This beautiful young girl is wearing a top with large puff sleeves, a large black sombrero hat, green vest, and a pink polka dot scarf. Overall it is good vintage condition, there is a spot where the bronze color glaze is worn off, it is barely noticeable when hung and a rough spot on the bottom (not sure if this part of the manufacturing process) (see the last 2 photos).
