Description: This pretty vintage redware plate / wall hanging features a glossy black glaze with an abstract, hand painted cream, green and brown flower design. The plate measures approximately 8-1/2" across and is slightly concave. The piece has lovely accents, like the cream and brown colored swirl around the perimeter, and the cream colored swirl pattern around the rim. The piece is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is some discoloration/dullness to the shiny glaze that I believe was caused by a cleaning product, and there is slight crazing which is visible in the cream colored paint. Please review the photos carefully so you are confident in your purchase. A lovely piece of redware artwork that would work well as a trinket dish, displayed on a plate stand, or hung on the wall.
