Description: This a vintage custom handmade pocket knife by Ray Johnson when he lived in Oregon County, Missouri just NW of West Plains, Missouri. Ray was set up next to me at the West Plains Gun and Knife Show in 1985 and I special ordered this knife from him at the time. Ray went on to Silver Dollar City in 1988 and became the resident smith at the forge there until his passing. The knife is 8 3/4" open, 3 7/8" blade and 5" closed, one clip point blade, single edge and false edge on top. Blade is deep stamped RAY JOHNSON. Knife has nickel silver bolsters and brass liners and moose webbing stag handles with a small hairline crack at the main backspring pin on both sides. Knife has never been sharpened or carried.
