The blanks are filled in by the company and there are approval signatures. At times, there are notes indicating needed changes. We are able to date the bags accurately by the approvals. THIS IS A SINGLE SHEET PAPER BAG PROOF, apparently pulled from the press for approval from the client. It was saved by the manufacturer for future reference. This is a PAPER PROOF FOR A CLOTH BAG. Once approved, the press would have been loaded with a roll of white light weight canvas The final cloth bag would have been folded in half and stitched at the dotted line and then trimmed to create the typical ham-shaped cloth bag.
