Description: Vintage “On Air” sign from 1980’s NYC television post-production facility. This was removed from the premier edit suite of the former VSC Post facility in NYC during the merger with Manhattan Transfer/Edit in 1993. The suite was installed in the mid 1980’s and was used for a mix of commercials, music videos and episodic shows and gifted to me by my staff during the decommissioning of the facility when we built the new, combined facility on 45th St which is still used by Riot/Company 3. I installed a small LED light strip, but the original light fixture is still in place if you’d like to return it to original condition (LED’s don’t take up much room!). The original fixture is for 120v. The bracket allows you to mount it facing forward or back depending on where you are installing it. Please let me know if you have any questions!
