Description: Night comes alive along Manhattan's Central Park West via this compact acorn shaped luminaire. It was NYC's choice for that wide, tree-shaded walkway and remains the luminaire of choice for large expanses where practical lighting and elegance combine. Central Park West luminaires are handsome decor elements for most urban environments and especially for residential areas such as driveways, pool areas or lawn spaces and also commercial areas like pedestrian walkways, malls, plazas and parks. They mate well with steel or aluminum poles, plain or sculptured, and look equally well when mounted on walls. The last picture shows a couple of mounting options. This listing is for the light fixture only. These are all aluminum so they will last forever. It’s 24” tall and 15” diameter. These are brand new, very old replacement stock from a NYC city lighting warehouse that was torn down. You can side mount this as pictured or you can remove the angle and hang it as a pendant. The Side mounts using a cast aluminum slip fitter which accepts pipe up to a 02 1/2" and has a 4" fitter depth. Or it will Pendant mount (hang straight down) to a 1-1/4" NPS pipe If you want a bunch of these it’s best to ship freight. Or can be delivered for a small reasonable fee a short distance from the pickup location can let us know.
