Description: This gorgeous pewter and abalone brooch is a rare find! It was made by Nuri (signed on back) and features a traditional Haida "Full Moon" totem/face design. It dates to the 1980s and is in excellent (like new) condition - there are no marks, chips, or scratches; the abalone shell inlay is fully intact and undamaged, and the pin attachment on the back is tight and secure.This brooch measures 1 & 3/4 inches (5 cm) in diameter.The "Nuri" mark is stamped on the back.This is a well made and nicely detailed piece.
