Description: Magnificent Set of 8 Matched RIM SOUP BOWLSNoritake M Made In Occupied Japan- this stamp dates to circa 1948-1952These elegant soup bowls have a super wide 1.5" rim and are very deepWide cream colored rim with white centers, deep brownish rust border w beige curling leaves and pink/gold flowers at 4 equidistant points. Gold rimsOne of a kind RARE 'mystery' pattern- Noritake made a great many similar patterns during the Occupied Japan period, most with wide cream borders, white centers, and slight variations in the border flower colors and shapes. It is very difficult to actually pinpoint names of patterns. Size Approx. 8 1/8" across, 1.5" deep Excellent Condition- must have been stored carefully and rarely if ever used.
