Description: I do not have a clue how old this is, could be 40's 50's or newer or older. I just am not sure. It came from an estate sale of a lady who passed several years ago at the age of 96. I could get no information from the neighbors or relatives as to this item. It has some thread damage in several places as you can clearly see from the pictures, and a very small hole in the backing. It is in otherwise good condition and very restorable. Seems to me to be wool thread on what looks like hard cotton maybe a feed sack but I am not sure. Colors are still very good and the motto in the ribbon "Exitus Acta Probat" is Latin for The ends justify the means or something very close to that. Measures 14 X 20 inches and the design is 9 X 15 inches. Item is framed but will be shipped without the frame and glass. From an estate sale in West Texas. I do not combine shipping on items that are "on sale".
