Description: Presented are fossil fragments found while beach combing in Myrtle Beach, SC in the late 1960s. Also included is a 1968 Copyright (1970 4th printing) of "Fossil Vertebrates-Beach and Bank Collecting for Amateurs" by M.C. Thomas. This is a primer for the hobby of hunting the remains of ancient vertebrate animals on beaches and banks around the perimeter of the United States. The book is in acceptable condition with some cover rubbing and the original owners name written on the front cover. Some staining and discoloration on the front and back covers. Crease on the front cover near owners name. Some pages have the corner bent over slightly. It is approximately 6" x 9" and contains 72 pages. There is an obvious crease on pages 5-8 and 65-68 (this was a printing defect from the publisher), but it can be somewhat unfolded to read the text. Also included are 3 postcards from the same time period from Myrtle Beach, SC. The postcards are approximately 3 1/2" x 8 1/4". The postcards are not postmarked. They appear to have some age discoloration as pictured. Please review photographs carefully to assess overall condition. Photographs are of actual items so please examine them carefully.
