Description: This is finely painted and vibrant Vintage Mid Century Modern Argentina Nautical Seascape Oil Painting on canvas, depicting a seaside harbor scene in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This work shows multiple masted vessels on calm waters, with figures on board them. A large ship on the right can be seen with the blue & white Argentinean flag hoisted. The setting sun casts a delicate glow which is reflected in the waters below. Signed: "Garcia" in the lower left corner. I am not sure which painter by this surname created this piece, but perhaps you know more about the artist or their work? Additionally, this piece is titled in the lower right corner: "Buenos Aires...Argentina." Approximately 24 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches (including frame.) Actual artwork is approximately 15 1/2 x 19 3/4 inches. This painting likely dates to the 1960's. Good condition for age, with some areas of light craquelure and yellowing to the canvas (please see photos.) Original period frame has light scuffing and edge wear.
