Description: Straight out of Midcentury 1960s, here's an amusing Cake Topper--Teenagers, Vinyl nearby, dancing (actually I think they're doing The Monkey, which came on the heels of the Twist and was popular for awhile there--I remember it!). Wilton of Chicago paid attention to fun details: the Girl dances in a pony tail and Sandra Dee dress out of the first half of the 60s, the boy has his white socks showing (a little later in the 60s no Teen would be caught dead in white socks!). Both are hard plastic and marked "WILTON, CHICAGO 43, MADE IN HONG KONG, W.11". The darling little Records each have a label reading "M.G.M., NEVER ON SUNDAY, APRIL LOVE, HIGH NOON" which came out in 1960, 1957, and 1952 and were big hits. These 60s Teens and their Vinyl are so evocative of a specific time and SO much fun--naturally they don't necessarily have to go on top of a cake:). Please see photos, read everything, and let me know if you have questions. Thanks very much!
