Many of these butterflies originated from Santa Catarina SE Brazil Made by Max Richter using a Riker mount at the Butterfly Museum, E. Durham, NY. Max was an avid butterfly collector and he also mounted and framed many butterflies for his museum or to sell. Max was known to butterfly collectors and conservationists who bred and sold butterflies out of E. Durham, NY from the 1960's into the 1990's.
