Description: Vintage Marx 9625 Sears Allstate Electric Train Set w/(2) Engines Working 1666 Track is O34, included are 18 curves, 11 straight (including one uncoupling track & signpost), 25 trestles (2 ea of #1 - #12), about 41 metal track brackets and a working transformer (the circuit breaker reset button doesn't appear to operate, but the transformer still works). Also includes Large Radius Crossover #1807. Track layout can be used either with crossover or the trestle set. The layout shown above in the picture measures 101" x 34". Tested both the engines (#1666) and it lit up when put on track, and smoke did come out of one. The engines could use some cleaning. The engines are incomplete - one is missing the front truck and a pickup shoe tab is broke off. The 1666 engines are actually 2 different smoking models; one of the engines actually has broken rear steps on it. The 2nd one is missing the rear truck and the side rod that creates the smoke. Both engines do go around the track, forwards and backwards, with no issue even though they are missing the parts. There's an empty bottle of smoke fluid that will be included. The cars included are: Oil Tanker, Flatcar with sides, Caboose, Boxcar & Engine tender. Also includes 4 pg instructions form IS-254 revision 1-56. These instructions also show suggested track layouts. The train set itself is in pretty good condition, minor rust on track, although the rail heads are all clean. The box does show wear due to age.
