Description: Vintage MADE in FINLAND SHEATH with SINGLE BLADE KNIFEThe Knife Sheath is very unusual. The Leather Sheath has Metal Trim on both sides of the bottom & three (3) Tassels attached by a brad at the top edge. There is a Leather Band with Brass Snap that holds the handle in place. The Sheath can be used on a belt or hang on pants.The Sheath is marked inside a circle:"MADE IN FINLAND".The Very Unusual Mini Style Hunting Knife has a Fixed Blade & a Compass in the Handle.The Knife is marked:"PALMAR JAPAN".The Sheath & Knife were found together in a local estate ... not sure whether or not they came together originally.USED CONDITION: There is the normal wear to the Finland Sheath & Palmar Knife due to use & storage. Nice estate find! Blade is tight! The tip of the blade may be slightly worn. Blade is tarnished & possibly has some surface rust. Needs to be cleaned before use. The leather sheath is very worn due to use.Approximate Measurements: Sheath: 7" over-all length x 1.25" W. Knife: 4.75" over-all length.
