Description: This is a beautiful older silverplate fruit bowl with its original sticker for Lunt Silverplate still attached. It is incised and numbered LUNT M-47 on the bottom. This is a good heavy silverplate bowl (weighing over 1-1/4 pounds) and is in wonderful condition with a wide scalloped edge border around the sides with flowers and floral bouquets extending down the interior sides of the bowl in high relief metalwork. It is a nice size for serving fruit or desserts or to be used as a centerpiece. It measures 12" across and is 1-7/8" tall on the sides. The smooth area in the middle is free of pitting and has only the slightest hint of scratches from use. This beautiful, quality piece of Lunt silverplate has elaborate and fine workmanship.
