Description: Vintage K.R. Wilson Buffalo New York Cylinder Sleeve Gauges.Vintage set of gauges for checking cylinder sleeve installments,gauges are in very good condition but need a ever so slight sanding with some 800 grit emery cloth and perhaps a buffing,Metal has dark discolored splotches from light surface rust which I cleaned with motor oil and scotch brite,surfaces have not been altered from cleaning and still have a couple rough spots(not real bad)and some minor dings from past shop use,three gauges are stamped 95-largest middle size 85 and the smaller one is stamped 60,set is in the original wood box label is missing but repo’s are available,all an all a nice set that’s been kept dry ,judging by the box I believe this set dates to the 1930’s but not sure how early wilson started making this set.
