Description: I'm listing a bunch of this early baseball magazines. They all have well written articles of the day --- 1930s and into the war --- which I consider the golden age of baseball. At least IMHO. Each of the magazines have a very stylized "poster" type image of a star with a "burned" in background on the inside front and back cover. And --- one more aspect from which I can speak with some knowledge: the photography is amazing. I spent 20 years shooting Major League Baseball, but I had motor driven cameras, auto focus capability, and all kinds of technology to work with. These guys --- and they were guys --- had one frame to work with per play to try and capture peak images. And that they did. Just some amazing work in these mags. Many shot on the field (I managed to catch the very tail end of shooting on the field in Detroit and Cleveland until it was outlawed) but these guys would be standing dangerously next to the batters to make their images. They also a lot of overhead photographs in that day, which is kind of a lost art these days. Fun to look through each of these. Buy more than one and they will ship on one fee. Just put them in one cart and I will adjust charges when I box and ship. I have a large inventory of vintage paper: auto manuals, military paper, railroad stuff, food and recipe paper, political pamphlets, oddball magazines, entertainment paper --- just about any paper you can think of. Some of it is in perfect shape and some is in rough condition. Things to look out for in the photos are page yellowing, corner bumping, rips and tears, handwriting, etc. --- normal flaws in old paper. If it appears to be a single page booklet or foldout. ---- and not a 100 page item ---- it probably is a single page booklet or foldout. 3. Carefully examine my studio-quality photographs. I do my best to document any flaws or issues. I tend to go overboard in showing flaws. I hate surprises when I buy on eBay as much as you do. I also do my best to accurately describe the items I find. 4. I basically sell "As Is." That said, I will accept returns if I have been negligent in my listing information. This includes outright mistakes, misrepresentations, or any errors on my part. I do not know everything about everything (don't tell my kids that please). If you are not sure about something and want to "try it out" at home before having "Buyer's remorse," please do not bid. Every auction or estate sale I go to is "as is." I do better than that with my return policy. I mess up once in a while and I have honored all legitimate returns. Please respect this policy. 5.
