Description: VINTAGE JOSEFF OF HOLLYWOOD SILVER TONE SUN GOD PIN PENDANT, DANGLE EYES. This listing is for an Authentic, Vintage Joseff of Hollywood, beautiful pin brooch / pendant. (Eugene Joseff founded Joseff of Hollywood in 1935, was a leading supplier of costume jewelry to Hollywood film studios, and developed a retail line for sale to the public, died tragically in a plane crash in 1948.) Joseff used Russian gold plating as a substitute for gold (semi-matte, copper-gold finish minimized the problem of flare from over reflective jewelry when filming under powerful studio lights.) The back has the Joseff signature disk BUT IS MISSING a working pin clasp (the closure hook in there and intact, missing the straight pin section), there is a small loop at top for converting to a pendant. The round brooch has a raised textured curving sun ray arms with a braided border on the "face" of the Sun God with raised nose, oblong mouth, and two oblong eye openings. Suspended from the back behind each eye is a round faceted clear rhinestone that move freely behind the eyes. The piece measures approx. 2-7/8" long BY 3" wide.
