The block is made of high quality Mountain hardwood for durability as well as beauty of the wood. It’s made in Dorset Vermont. In the beautiful USA !! It measures 6” X 7 1/2. It’s been stored on a shelf for many years and needs cleaning. I’m leaving that to the new owner.Clean with a damp cloth or a wet cloth, but do not soak in water. An occasional application of a little boiled linseed or olive oil to protect the wood and restore its beautiful.It has its original knife still in the protective sleeve.
