Description: Vintage Ivory DuBarry Py-ra-lin dresser set is made from a type of celluloid produced by the Arlington Co. (later part of DuPont). These items date back to about the 1920's, and looked somewhat like ivory for a luxurious effect. The mirror has no damages, other that the same slight discoloration all the items have due to age, and is 13-1/2" long. The covered powder box and the hair receiver are the same size and have interchangeable lids. One box has a hairline crack, and the other has two. They are each 5" in diameter and 2-1/4" high. The small jewelry box is lined in a velveteen fabric, and is 6-1/4" x 4-3/8" x 1-1/2." It has a broken hinge area and a chip on the edge. From an estate sale, these are wonderful nearly antique, vintage display items.
