Description: Vintage ITALIAN Doll SWISS Doll Figural Salt Pepper Shaker Ceramic Set Sweet little figural dolls in Swiss and Italian traditional dress. The Italian doll has dark hair and 2 holes in the back of her head for salt. The Swiss doll has blonde hair and three holes in the back of her head for pepper. Each have cork stoppers in the base with black printing: Italian Doll Swiss Doll. Each measure about 3 1/2" x 2" x 2 3/4". I would date them to the 1950's when it was very popular to collect salt and pepper shakers. Have been used and there are small paint chips and some crazing, but no cracks or repairs.
