Description: This is quite a curly basket. The curls seem closer than most. The Basket is Iroquois, probably from a northeastern tribe like Micmac or Passamaquoddy. It is 12" diameter and 6.5" tall. It is on a footed base. It has just a little top rim damage to the wraps and the foot is edged with cotton cord. It has 6 missing curls in the top row and a triangle of missing curls on one lower side. It's an older basket, but I have no idea how old.
