In those days, rapid technology advancements led to frequent upgrades in our aggressive upgrade program so these components experienced only short term use. To keep our upgrade program prices low, we allowed credit for the removed components. Consequently, I ended up with a warehouse full of vintage computer components, all safely boxed and undisturbed for decades.
