Description: This XL Automatic is in great shape for a saw its age. It is a fairly rare model from Homelite. Not an XL-12, not a Super XL Automatic. Pretty early serial number as well. The previous owner clearly serviced the gas tank, as there is gasket material visible along the top. The sprocket doesn't look too worn either so it was likely replaced. I replaced the duckbill valve in the cap and ran the tank empty so the saw's condition won't degrade in storage. It fires up immediately and the carb is tuned as well. The one quirk is that the killswitch detent is a little worn so you have to manually depress the switch at idle to stop the engine.
