Description: Up for sale is this Hiawatha Thermos . There 2 things to mention. One, the lid had/has a burn mark. Two, There is some rust at the bottom of the inside of the can. I did clean the inside of the can and applied Fluid Film to the inside. Fluid Film is a non-toxic, lanolin based rust preventer. There is still some rust present but it shouldn’t get any worse. As you can see from the photos the original sticker is still attached to the insulator. The insulator was a replacement. The sticker reads “This Thermos Brand replacement filler has a center tip It requires use of a center opening shock absorber Pictured Here - Before inserting replacement filler, be sure to examine the shock absorber in your bottle. If it’s not like the picture above, consult your dealer to secure the proper one. The American Thermos Bottle Co. Norwich, Conn. U.S.A.”On the bottom it reads “Hiawatha Made In U.S.A. Manufactured By The American Thermos Bottle Co. Norwich, Conn.”
