Description: This WORKING, Hemisphere ten transistor radio Model 1065 would make a great starter piece for a new radio collector or an addition to a current collection. Made in Hong Kong in the 1960s for the Sampson Company (Chicago, IL), this pocket radio would also make a cool display or decor item for that mid-century modern, vintage style. The radio has been tested (battery included), it has good volume and a sensitive receiver able to pick up AM radio stations. There is a small crack along the right side and the bottom left corner. The color of the radio is ivory. It has some minor wear & discoloration but otherwise it is in very good condition for its 60 years.
