Description: Vintage hand-painted metal decorative plate with floral theme. Plate appears to be aluminum (I am no metal expert, but I did listen to a lot of AC/DC back in the day, guffaw.) Approximately 6.25" diameter with a five petaled floral rim raised above the base. Flowers are painted in blue, red, and white, with green/yellow leaves, on the base of the plate. Metal has a streaky, shiny patina and the edges are somewhat sharp to the touch. Each plate has a hole for hanging it on the back and a rectangular sticker on the front reading "Made in Switzerland" in gold on black outlined in gold. This was likely a tourist/souvenir gift. The box is red cardboard with a picture of the rim of the plate outlining a cellophane window to view the plate. The box is marked in pen "8496/3", and there is a taped pink piece of paper with "$3.00" on it. There are also pieces of tape on the top and bottom of the box. I was unable to find anything comparable, but I think it's got age, pretty hand-painting, and an original box going for it.
