Description: Vintage Goldette Victorian or Etruscan Revival Necklace. This Stunning Statement Necklace features a huge, Faux Purple Amethyst Glass or Crystal Center Stone, with 5 small ones hanging below. Goldette was a famous higher-end costume jewelry designer, producing revival inspired jewelry items from 1958-1977. It is my understanding that they typically incorporated fine glass and crystal elements; often set into gold-plated metals. I don't know those aspects of this particular necklace. Note: this is a long necklace; in the photos I have it pulled down behind the neck to raise it up in the front so that it will fit on my mannequin. See the photos. The chain necklace itself is 21". The pendant is an additional 5.75". The total length of the necklace (chain + pendant) is 26.75" The pendant's widest width is about 1.75". The large purple faux amethyst stone is 1" x 11/16" It is marked Goldette on the back of the pendant.Excellent condition. Sorry, no sales outside the U.S.
