It was made in Italy out of genuine suede. The inside has 3 compartments, 1 of which has a zipper. I'm not sure how to categorize it, but you can carry it like a top handle purse, a shoulder bag, or a satchel.Condition: it's in a well maintained used condition. I've recently brushed and conditioned the suede. There's some black marks inside of handle loops from the metal rubbing against the fabric, but it's not very noticeable when carrying the bag (see the second to last photo).
