Description: This vintage magazine rack is 12.75" tall, with a wood base that's 16" x 9.25", and weighs 9.5 lbs. It's an interesting design that could fit in with different styles. There are four sculptural corner pillars with two strong handles on top. Between them is a solid piece of folded brass, sitting on a wood base with brass ball feet. I can't find any maker's marks. I was only able to find one example online, a live auction listing from 2012. It listed it as an English arts & crafts magazine rack. That may be true, but I can't say for sure. I did find other English magazine racks with wood bases and brass ball feet like this one, but couldn't find a definite answer. The rack includes space for just under 5" total of magazines or whatever you store in it. There is 12.75" of space between the handles. It is in clearly used condition. The corners of the wood base are worn and the finish is flaking in some areas. It may have been near a sink, as one side has a lot of splatter marks, including the opposing inside wall. There are also dirtier areas where it is difficult to clean.
