Description: Authentic sterling silver Southwestern Paua shell ring. This vintage ring features a lovely dark green oval shape paua shell. The cabochon cut gem averages close to one-half inch in length by one-quarter inch in width and lies in a traditional closed back serrated bezel. Framing one side to the shell is a gracefully curving lightly textured feather. One end of the ring shows a classic Southwestern flower design. Before joining the gallery, the shoulders of the ring split. Stamped on the underside of the gallery is "Sterling", denoting the silver content. The ring is currently a size 6.375 and could be sized slightly up or down by your local jeweler. The ring has been lightly cleaned but not polished. Shows age-appropriate wear, including scratches on the paua, but overall, nice estate condition. Weighs 4.5 grams. This fun and interesting ring would make a wonderful gift or self-purchase.
