Description: Vintage 80s/90s original Daniel Chester French (1850-1931) Exhibition poster featuring his sculpture “Andromeda” on display at Chesterwood in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. National Trust For Historic Preservation printed in bottom left corner. Protected behind glass and framed in a silver painted molded wood frame. Backed with brown paper and ready to hang. In Excellent overall condition. Clean and crisp with only some gentle wear to the right edge (see photos). Bold, vibrant and crisp. Frame is clean and hold. Displays handsomely. PLEASE NOTE: There is heavy flare from light on the glass on the photos which is not on the actual poster itself. The poster background is a clean consistent charcoal black and has no white lines or squares like the glare suggests. There is a silver white boarder around the edges. Well preserved. Daniel Chester French (April 20, 1850 – October 7, 1931) was an American sculptor of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He is best known for his 1874 sculpture The Minute Man in Concord, Massachusetts, and his 1920 monumental statue of Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.
