Description: Vintage Christmas Star Tree Topper Metal Filigree Swirl Glass Glitter Beads 15" 6-Pointed Star Silver Curlicue Non-Electrified Condition:This is a preowned, vintage 6-Pointed Silver Star Christmas tree topper. It is made of silver-tone metal and covered in glass glitter beads. It does not light up but it is very large and makes quite a statement all by itself. It measures 15" across from tip to tip. I am not sure of the age of this star but I do believe it is vintage and may date to the 1950s. It currently has a piece of green ribbon strung through it so that it can be used as wall decor but I believe the original intent was for use as a tree topper. One of the points does not connect and I believe that is where the top of the tree would insert. It is in good condition but it is losing some beads, most notably on the tips.
