Description: Welcome to Milkweed Antiques. This fun vehicle fits perfectly into the Art Deco time period. It is very streamlined. It is a Pullman Railplane toy that was made by Arcade out of cast iron. It is red and white. This particular Railplane is harder to find because it is 9" long instead of the more common 5-1/2" long version. In picture #15 you can see that it is marked, but I cannot make it out. I believe it states "Arcade" and then the item number. On the flip side it states "U.S.A." that you can see in picture #16. This toy has white rubber tires that have hardened but are complete. As mentioned above, this Railplane toy is 9" long x 1-1/2" tall x 1-1/2" deep. It is from the 1930s. This Pullman Railplane toy was used. I believe it may have been repainted a while ago. The red paint has chips. The lettering on the "back" side is blurred in an attempt to redo by a previous owner. Please see the pictures. They help with the description.
