Vintage CASE XX USA 6 Dot 1984 62109X Baby Copperhead - Bovine Bone

Description: This is a vintage Case 62109X “Baby Copperhead” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX USA 6 Dot 1984 “lightning S”.The blades each have the “new grind” or “shoulderless grind” blades. Case used this blade grind for less than two years in the 1980's The knife is 3-1/8” closed with brass liners and pins. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel. Both blades have strong snap, no wobble. The "Appaloosa" colored bovine bone handles have no cracks or damage. A used knife - carried and lightly sharpened. Both blades are full with stains, specks, patina.Handling rub marks on the bolsters/frame. A great solid everyday carry knife with carbon steel blades. The handles on this knife were crafted from South American Zebu cattle shin bone. Genus/Species - Bos indicus or Bos taurus indicus.
