Description: This is a vintage Case 5220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.The clip blade has very slight side-to-side wobble. The pen blade is tight with no side-to-side wobble.Genuine stag handles have great color.The handles have no cracks or damage.Used, carried, lightly sharpened. Both blades are full with sharpening marks, patina, and staining as the photos show.
