These buttons are a jet Black mourning button with a boquet of flower pressed in the top. Many were hand painted. The design is very unusual and will make any project you use them on very special. The buttons are 3/4 inch across and are self shank.. These have never been used or been in circulation before. These buttons were originally created for the Haute Couture Houses in the early 1900’s. I purchased them from a family member of the original owners in Europe that had them in storage since WW11. These are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These are new/old stock and time has stood still for them and they are in new condition. These are from the 20's. These beautiful glass gems would add a touch of history and beauty to any project whether it is used for sewing or jewelry. I promise you the pictures do not do them justice.
