Description: VINTAGE AUTO STICKPIN BADGE STANPART STANDARD TRIUMPH BY BERTRAM BROTHERS MELB. This STANPART STANDARD badge is a gilded brass and enamel stickpin type badge. Condition: Gilt brass and enamel. Used, pre-loved condition. Nice clean gilding and good enamel inlay - no chips nor cracks. Note: STANPART was the brand name of the manufacturing arm of the Standard motor car company, which acquired Triumph at the end of WWII. Standard ceased production of it's own branded cars in 1963, but continued as the major parts supplier to Triumph. Parts were available for the Triumph Spitfire, Herald, GT6, Vitesse, Bond Equipe and Lotus Elan Models. Triumph was one of the brands eventually acquired by British Leyland.
