Description: A mystery duo lot of vintage to antique Chinese or Tibetan stone carved statue figures. I found examples similar listed as both Chinese and Tibetan. The story is that they are 19th Century but We could not swear to it. No paperwork. They surely do seem and feel older. One is a smaller Guardian Foo Dog. A little damage on the butt. Could be really old damage. Nice detail. The other is pretty cool and I found few examples outside Tibetan that showed Buddha riding a Guardian Foo Dog. Also I wouldn't be surprised if they were really old or vintage 20th. Nice heavy pieces. Some kind of import export number on the bottom. Seems heavier than Soap Stone. Could be Marble. Both pieces together weigh approx 10.3 pounds by my scale. UPS lower 48 insured or Global your risk. Pieces came from a large art collection, mostly French pieces but there were several Asian pieces as well.Any questions please ask
