Description: Vintage Bitossi Pottery ceramic studio art trinket box circa 1960's. This highly collectible series of boxes were designed by Aldo Londi and hand made in Italy. This box is approx. 4" wide, 2" tall, and 8.5" long including lid. It features a bright green, slightly iridescent glaze and interesting esoteric symbols resembling ancient Chinese seals. Unique design. Condition: In very good condition with a few minor production flaws including small spots missing glaze and a lid that is very slightly bent. Additionally, there is a 3/4" scratch on the lid and a tiny section where the glaze appears to be flaking from age. Please see photos. Thanks!
