Description: Here is a chenille bedspread from the 1950s with a ballerina in the center. It can be used on a twin bed or on a full bed with a bedskirt under it. It features a pale pink background, pastel pom pom accents, light blue chenille trim, 25 inches long and 21 inches wide. She is missing a few light pink pom poms on her skirt, but otherwise is in good condition for the age. There are no stains or areas of discoloration anywhere on the spread. There are several issues. There is a small area where the fabric has thinned to the point that it has worn through ( as shown). The area is 19 inches from the edge and will hang on the side of the bed on a twin. Below the ballarina is an area where the chenille has worn and there is a small hole below the ballerina. All in all, a much loved vintage bedspread which has thinned over the decades. It is priced with condition in mind. It can be used as a bedspread or can be a cutter. Guaranteed to be old, original and uncommon.
