Description: Original Gobelin Chocolates "For Your Valentine" Cardboard Store Advertiser Display, featuring a sailor kissing and embracing a blonde girl,holding her in his arms with a red Valentine's box of chocolates, against a backdrop of a large red valentine trimmed with lace. Measures approx. 27 1/4" x 20" inches. There is no date or manufacturer on advertiser. The poster is an eye-catcher and displays well, however, over the years it has accrued some nicks/tears/wrinkles, etc. In person, the overall background is a warm yellow tone, not white. It has a large piece of tape on back (see photos) to hold in place a large wrinkle in the cardboard. The stand up part from the back is missing, only partial tab flaps are on the top and bottom back The wrinkle is in the upper left of advertiser, actually 2 wrinkles with an approx 1" tear. There are other small dents/wrinkles/dings/rough edges, PLEASE refer to photos for best description. While it has signs of wear on edges and the wrinkles, etc., it is an outstanding piece of history.
