Description: A vintage wooden screw box die for cutting threads on hardwood dowels, and a matching tap for similar thread cutting. I believe this is a 3/4" size similar to broom handle ends, the tap has a tapered cutting edge, and is about 5 threads per inch. The screw box die has 3 stamp marks of H. WILLIAMS with 2 #45 stamps, and 1 of J. CONELLY, one is likely a maker's mark, and the other an owner. I'm not certain where or when it was made, but I would guess the USA or in the UK in the early 20th century, both tools are in good overall condition. A nice vintage woodworking item. Expedited shipping with insurance and tracking within Canada, and Airmail with tracking to the USA only, please. Will be well packed for shipping. Local pick-up is welcome.
