Description: Vintage 1991 CHUCK BERRY Hand Signed Autographed (3) CD Boxed Set Boxed set includes The autographed outer box, a 36 page booklet and (3) Chuck Berry CD's that are his works from 1955-1973. 71 songs total. This was signed in December of 1991 at an SGA party.In the 1990’s, SGA (Services Group of America - Food Services of America) in Seattle would throw employee Christmas parties and would bring in different national music acts for the entertainment.Chuck Berry played the 1991 party and this CD set was signed to my friend Jerry, who was in the opening band for Chuck Berry.A few years after this, I joined the band and we did SGA parties with James Brown and the Righteous Brothers, in 1995 and 1997. I have other autographed records listed from these parties. Jerry told me he asked Chuck Berry to sit in with them and Chuck Berry replied, "If I come up, I'll be up". (He didn't come up). I think the autograph says: The best of lifetime. (lifetime is misspelled without the first "e" and I'm guessing that's why he wrote "life" below it) Life (smiley face) 1991 To Jerry Chuck Berry The CD's are in excellent unplayed condition. The front of the box has some smudges, shown in the pictures.The inside lid of the box is very clean and the back of the box is, too.The booklet is in excellent condition.
