Vintage 1990's Shure SM-63 dynamic microphone Low Z w accessories E.V 635A # 3

Description: Hello and welcome to The House of Chrome. Here's a unique and somewhat rarer Shure mic with great sound quality from the 1980's and 90's. This is the 1990's model SM-63 dynamic microphone set at low impedance which I find to have more of a mid range sound. Very similar sounding to the Electro Voice 635A model mic and it's omni-directional as well. It has a smooth tone that you'll really appreciate and it comes with an original Shure mic clip, short cable and Shure mic pouch in which to store. Pic # 2 is from a catalog I have showing the SM-63's characteristics and general use. This is a 1990's model as it was made in Mexico before being discontinued in the late 1990's. The earlier SM-63 models were made in the U.S.A. The SM-63 was manufactured for about 20 years. The SM-63 is an ultra lite weight mic. An all metal body with a plastic front grill. It's 6 inches long X 1 1/4 wide at the tip. You can hold this mic for hours without any strain or simply place it in the mic clip. The SM-63 series has a very modern and classy look. It comes with it's stock champagne gold / silver color scheme. Not sure of the actual color but that's the best I can describe it. This is a quality dynamic mic with omni-directional characteristics picking up a bit more background noise. If you sing and play the guitar this will make a good choice. As you can see in the pictures provided there are just lite signs of wear on the original painted handle. Just a few small scuff marks. The Shure logo that encircles the mic shows no wear and completely legible. No fractures, dents or odors on the front grill and the original inner foam pop filter is in great shape. The XLR pins on this mic were cleaned as well ensuring a perfect signal once a cable is attached. The mic takes your standard XLR cable which is included and it's in excellent shape. It's appx 6 feet in length. Soft, pliable and works perfectly. It has the male and female Switchcraft XLR connectors. Mic comes with an excellent Shure A25D model mic clip that grips the mic very well. The clip provides a wide degree of tilt up and down and will screw onto any desk or floor stand. The black Shure vinyl mic pouch is also included and a great place to store the mic when not in actual use. The pouch is in excellent condition and the zipper works perfectly. There's even enough room for a longer cable if you choose to store it there. Overall an excellent working mic that's about as close to perfect for a 30 year old microphone and an easy 8 on a scale of 1 - 10 physically speaking.
