Description: This is a 1986 Precision Bass from my private collection. I don't know what they called it (*Boxer ?), but it has no pick guard and never did . It's basically all original except for a couple repairs. Made in Japan @ Fugi??? , while the US factories (Fullerton, CA) were shut down due to ownership transition . (i.e. there were no USA made Fenders from 1984-1987).It is all original (Tuners, Bridge, Pickups, Pots, *Wiring, etc.) with exception, the back of the neck has been professionally refinished in Nitro Cellulose Black (the original color), and a new jack was installed. Fretboard and Frets are in very good condition, neck is straight, nice action and truss rod is fully functional. P.S. Note , After I took pix and posted them, I noticed I had a some point swapped out the original Fender bridge for the high mass chrome one pictured . However, I do have the "original" black vintage bridge and submitted a pix of it. I will replace it shortly and post new pix .
