This is a restoration project.***********This seldom seen vintage 1970's Lanco diver has a near pristine black "T SWISS MADE T" signed dial and the original lume, which emits a quick burst glow after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The black/silver bezel, which rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely. The black PVD coated base metal case shows heavy wear. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "STAINLESS STEEL BACK SWISS MADE 808-1276" with "EST" followed by "QUARTZ" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "AGON WATCH." The crystal needs to be replaced. The quartz movement does not run and likely needs to be replaced. While the date and hour hand can be set without issue the minute hand does not move. This is a restoration project. This watch measures approximately 38 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40 mm including the crown and approximately 18 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 10.5 mm. The crystal adds no measurable thickness. Given that the movement does not run and likely needs to be replaced a restoration is required. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch. Vintage means old and while my personal belief is that old-school means better quality and workmanship, things can and do go wrong from time to time. For this watch that time is now.
