Description: Offered here is a vintage children's / child's / kid's menu from a Howard Johnston's restaurant. It is sort of spiral cut and can be worn as a hat. The front side reads: "PRESIDENTIAL MENU HAT" and has trivia questions about past presidents. The opposite side has the answers to the questions, and the menu. Nearly everything is under one dollar. (The priciest selection was $1.10: "Sliced Roast Turkey, Potato, Vegetable, Roll & Butter, Ice Cream and Beverage.") Near the bottom, it is marked: "If you could vote your choice..." and the child wrote (in pencil) "NIXON." This seems to be from Nixon's 1968 or 1972 election. (One of the answers to a trivia question is President Kennedy, so this is AFTER Nixon's 1960 campaign.) The menu measures 11 & 1/2 inches long, and about 8 inches wide - depending on WHERE you measure. The condition is GOOD. There are some TAN STREAKS on the side with the menu. On the front side, the child wrote, "Yea!!" on the body of the elephant. Otherwise it is very nice. It is guaranteed to be old & original - made over 50 years ago - or your money back.
