Item Condition & Details: This is a pre- owned Vintage 1967 Grand Canyon 550 Piece Landscape Puzzle by the Great American Puzzle Factory as part of their National Landmarks series. The puzzle has an awesome vintage look with a white box, red text and Grand Canyon photograph. There are some signs of wear on the box including scratching, scuffs, minor litho loss, and general edge/corner shelf wear. The pieces inside are in great shape with vivid and vibrant colors and a tight fit. This puzzle is definitely challenging, but a lot of fun to assemble. Please refer to pics for additional condition details. About Mohave Point: South Rim overlook in Coconino County Arizona with wide vistas of terraced cliffs, sandstone mesas & curving Colorado River. Mohave Point has a fine view of the near vertical, 3,000 foot high cliffs that encircle The Abyss and continue towards Pima Point, two miles west. Beyond, further to the west, are three of the next points (Yuma, Cocopa, Havasupai), fading into the distance. Below the huge cliffs, about half a mile of river is visible, including Boucher Rapids and Granite Rapids, at the end of Monument Creek which occupies most of the near ground. Mohave is one of only two eastbound stops along the Hermit's Rest shuttlebus route, along with Hopi Point, and both are favorite locations for watching the sunset. The views at Hopi are more expansive, but Mohave has several individual overlooks rather than just one, and tends to receive fewer visitors so is generally more peaceful.
